Job Description
Plan, lead and supervise subsurface and related surface activities with primary focus on petroleum technology needs/opportunities/trials ‘new to QatarEnergy’ and deliver specialised non-routine technical support, for the development and redevelopment of all QatarEnergy’s Operated & Non-Operated Domestic Oil fields within the VU Directorate. These activities aim at maximising the economic recovery of the currently developed reserves and the discovered undeveloped reserves via sound engineering practices, optimum resources management and fit-for-purpose proven technology applications.
Skills Required
- 15 years of related work experience with reputable oil & gas companies
- 7 years with a major IOC
- Carbonate reservoir experience
- Customer Centric Mindset
- Experience using Petroleum Engineering standard software tools: MBAL, Prosper
- GCC experience
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Good inter-personal influencing skills
- International multicultural working experience
- Technologies implementation, Production Chemistry and Geochemistry experience
Qualifications Required
- BSc degree in Petroleum Engineering or other related discipline
