Accounts Receivable Accountant

Prepare and issue invoices to customers accurately and on time. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with clients for outstanding payments. Record all payments, receipts, and adjustments in the accounting system. Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Maintain organized filing of invoices, credit applications, and related documentation. Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing reports on receivables. Coordinate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries. Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions. Support audits by providing necessary information and reports. Assist in implementing and improving accounts receivable processes and internal controls.
